I took part in a three-day visual merchandising workshop at Bluewater where I received a mix of theory and practice based learning. On the first day we were asked to create a small display based on a season or celebration of our choice, I chose spring as I noticed they had a lot of flowers in the prop room and thought it would deviate from the Halloween theme many people were going for.

The theme behind the look is office chic, I wanted to build the narrative of a sophisticated career woman working in the fashion industry, she relishes in her femininity through her choice of a pink palette but she's also driven and assertive through her grey blazer complementing the other colours.

The small details are what complete the display, aside from the flowers giving the feeling of spring, I also wanted the books to follow the overall look, with the magazine being open on a pink page and the article's main focus being a strong female role model.
