A small project in which I had to pick a fashion brand and a non-fashion brand to collaborate.
The two brands I have chosen are Missoni and Lavazza, an Italian fashion brand and an Italian coffee brand. I chose them because they are both heritage brands and because Lavazza has never shied away from collaborations while Missoni is already experienced with branching out to areas other than fashion such as homeware.
For the collaboration I decided to put a twist on existing Lavazza products, creating limited edition coffee pods and packaging wrapped in Missoni prints.
As part of the project we also had to design a window for the pop-up store where their collaboration would be showcased. I wanted something quirky and eye-catching that would showcase the product while being a bit of a spectacle. The walls of the window are gonna be lined up with fake coffee pods, some of them will have lights inside them which will light up as the words Missoni x Lavazza continuously travel across in a rightward trajectory. The giant coffee machine in the middle will be slowly dropping coffee pods inside a clear glass mug which will release the coffee pods from below once filled up.
