For the end of October I was asked to put out glitzier outfits due to the local high street retailers having started their Christmas parties displays and because we had no Halloween costumes so I went for a night out theme. We always need to layer as much as possible to showcase more stock, which means that unless it's a sweltering summer we should include blazers, jackets, coats, shoes and jewellery whenever we can. We would try to include bags too, but due to the mannequins having no arms it's not easy for them to stay on and positioning them off the mannequins makes them an easy target for theft.
For the in-store displays I only changed the clothes as I was asked by the manager to maintain the New Goods displayed. I tried to match the vibe of the products but it wasn't well achieved as we didn't have as many good options this week.
